At Thorpeness Country Club, we understand that every bride plans her ‘special day’ to be as memorable as possible. We pride ourselves in delivering the highest standards in service, discretion and professionalism and our friendly team will ensure that your day is perfect from start to finish for your Wedding in Suffolk.
Built in 1913, the Country Club is a unique setting available for Suffolk wedding venue hire, full of character and magical charm. Overlooking the Suffolk coast, the tranquil surroundings create a wonderful backdrop for wedding photos, guaranteed to make your day one to always treasure.
The joy of holding your wedding at Thorpeness Country Club is that nothing is set in stone. We listen to your personal requirements, advising when necessary, to ensure that your wedding goes exactly to plan. Licensed to hold civil wedding ceremonies in Suffolk and seating up to 120 guests, the Club is highly flexible in what it can offer.
There are two floors available to hire for your Suffolk wedding, which can be used separately or in conjunction with each other. The Club can be exclusively yours if you choose to use it for both your ceremony and wedding breakfast, and its large dance floor means you can party into the night. If you really want to push the boat out, you could have your reception on the beach!
If your guests would like to stay close to your chosen venue the hotel has 36 en-suite bedrooms or choose from twelve self catering apartments adjacent to the Country Club and the beach. | 
Our Head Chef and Master Chef of Great Britian, David Ryan,
is passionate about food and appreciates that fine food and wine are an essential part of a wedding.
Together with our Banqueting Manager, he will work with you to produce exquisite menus, tailored to suit any special requirements or indeed budget.
