At the White Lion Hotel we devote lots of time to finding great local ingredients to make amazing dishes for everyone. Our chefs will listen to your requirements and carefully prepare a special Suffolk wedding menu that’s just right for you and your guests.

A traditional summer wedding?
While many get married over the summer months, there is much to recommend the Suffolk coast in the other seasons. The White Lion’s cosy interior is lovely in winter time, with roaring log fires and windows facing out to the changeable sea.
Photography
Photography is sure to be a big part of your day and at the White Lion Hotel you can take time deciding on the best places to capture your memories. This Suffolk wedding venue is full of character and photographs on the shingle beach are a must!
Staying over
At the White Lion there are some beautiful bedrooms where your guests will enjoy a comfortable overnight stay (or longer!) and then tuck into a delicious Suffolk breakfast in the morning. For larger wedding parties, we can help arrange rooms in our nearby Aldeburgh hotel, the Brudenell Hotel while the Thorpeness Country Club and Thorpeness Hotel are also ideal for your wedding guests.
